Sing Around Nebraska 2008
SAN is a sponsored event by the American Choral Directors
Association. They meet every other year involving 4th, 5th and 6th
grade students throughout the state of Nebraska. There were 1900
students at 8 different sites over the weekend performing the same
music. These teacher selected Waverly students have been meeting
weekly since December 1 to learn and memorize their music for this
event. Under the direction of Dr. William Wyman, director of Choral
activities from Nebraska Wesleyan University, they spent the day
working to make "one voice". This years event included:
